Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Manchester United young goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to reports from The Sunday People.
The 20-year-old signed a long-term deal in 2015 but hasn’t featured for the senior side. Jose Mourinho has named his top three keepers at Old Trafford in David de Gea, Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira with Henderson beginning to get concerned about the lack of his first team opportunities.
Reports suggest that Everton and West Brom are keeping tabs on Henderson’s situation, with Ronald Koeman reportedly unconvinced over his club’s two keepers; Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Toffees have been strongly linked with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford but don’t want to meet the £30 million asking fee from Sunderland.
If The Toffees secure Henderson’s signature, it is unlikely that Koeman would make him his number one keeper, but he would more than likely get more first team opportunities at Goodison Park than he will at Old Trafford.
