Everton are to hold talks with Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez this week, ahead of a £5.2m move to Goodison Park.
The Daily Mail claim that Ramirez is due in Liverpool on Monday to agree personal terms for his proposed move to the Toffees. Ramirez was set to sign for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid but due to the club’s ongoing transfer ban, the deal was unable to reach completion.
As a product from Barcelona’s coveted youth academy La Masia, Ramirez will undoubtedly come with a great level of technical ability and individual talent. The 21-year-old netted 16 goals in 31 games last season after a permanent move away from the Catalan club.
Everton could look to add depth to their attacking ranks and the low release-clause in his contract will be a huge bonus.
It remains unknown whether or not Ramirez would arrive as a direct replacement for the seemingly outgoing Romelu Lukaku.
