According to a report from Italian outlet Tuttosport, as reported by Calciomercato, Everton have set their sights on signing Sassuolo striker Diego Falcinelli.
The 25-year-old has spent the last five seasons out on loan but this time around looks to have made an impression. The Italian notched up 13 league goals during his time at Crotone last season and helped the club make a miraculous escape from relegation.

Falcinelli is a striker by nature but has the capability to play on the left and right flank, making him a very useful squad player.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman is set to spend big this summer to prepare his team for Europa League football and the report states that the club are willing to offer around €15 million for the Italian’s signature.
It doesn’t look like Falcinelli will be a replacement for the inevitably outgoing Romelu Lukaku however, it’s likely he’ll be signed as a back-up to whoever they replace the Belgian with.
