According to Football Italia, Everton have made an approach for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The report claims that Everton have contacted Napoli as they ponder a bid for the towering central defender in the summer.
Everton were heavily linked with Koulibaly last year but failed to push any deal over the line, signing Ashley Williams from Swansea instead.
However, Everton now look set to re-ignite their interest in the Senegalese defender, who has played 32 Serie A games this season for Napoli.

The 25-year-old has also attracted interest from current Premier League leaders Chelsea, who were touted with signing him last summer along with Everton.
The report also claims that Koulibaly has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave if a bid of £49m comes in, which would break Everton’s transfer record.
It is said that Everton have now moved in to talk to Koulibaly’s agent about a potential move for his client in the summer.
