Everton are looking to sign at least one new striker this season, regardless of what happens with Romelu Lukaku, and according to a report by Dominic King of the Daily Mail, Real Sociedad’s William Jose is one of their potential targets.
According to the report, Everton’s Director of Football Steve Walsh has already been in contact with the La Liga side regarding the availability of the 25-year-old and plans to hold more talks with them in the future.

The much travelled striker has spent time on loan at numerous clubs from Uruguayan side Deportivo Maldonado throughout his career, but in 2016, he finally got himself a permeant move when he signed for Sociedad for around £5million.
He’s scored 12 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season for the La Liga side and is one of the main reasons why they look set to secure a place in next year’s Europa League.
The former Brazilian U20 international signed a five-year deal with Real Sociedad this past summer so if Everton do want him, they’ll likely have to pay a sizeable fee.
