Everton have enjoyed a massively successful first season of a new era at Goodison Park.
The 2016/17 campaign has been the start of something quite special at the club, with Farhad Moshiri, Steve Walsh and Ronald Koeman working together to get Everton back to their best and revitalise them again, turning them into a competitive top flight side once again.
Koeman’s men are currently sitting pretty in seventh place on the Premier League table and are in contention to seal Europa League football next season, where they will enter in at the qualifying stages.
However, Koeman and his side will sense an opportunity that they can in fact go one better than seventh and challenge the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal above them in fifth and sixth respectively.
