Everton were comfortable in victory this afternoon as they swept aside Leicester City in a 4-2 win.
It was an interesting affair between two in-form teams and it was the hosts that got off to the perfect start, with young Tom Davies firing home within the first minute of the match to put Everton 1-0 up.
However, Leicester hit back almost instantly up the other end with Islam Slimani finishing off a counter-attack well in under five minutes. The Foxes then extended their lead minutes later as Marc Albrighton looped a free-kick over and beyond the reach of Joel Robles to make it 2-1 to the visitors.
The first-half brought more goals though and Romelu Lukaku levelled the scoring with a bullet header, before Phil Jagielka pounced at the corner to score his second goal in as many games.
Lukaku then put the nail in the coffin early on in the second-half to make it 4-2.
Here are five things that we took away from the match.
