Everton undoubtedly have one of the best strikers in the Premier League at the moment in Romelu Lukaku but as it stands, the Belgian is refusing to sign a new contract at the club, which put the Blues in a difficult spot.
Of course, the ideal scenario is that the player and the club can come to an arrangement that suits both in terms of getting him a new deal, but if that doesn’t happen, Everton could be forced to sell him whilst his value is still at its maximum.
Lukaku has notched 19 of Everton’s 47 league goals this season and if he leaves, he’ll leave a huge hole in the squad.
Having said that, no player is bigger than Everton and if he leaves in the summer, the club will need to replace him.
