Everton are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United outcast Ashley Young, according to the Telegraph.
Ronald Koeman has made no secret that he will look to strengthen the Toffees during the January transfer window, with Young being mooted as a possible target among names such as Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin.

All of Gerard Deulofeu, Aaron Lennon and Kevin Mirallas have all failed to make an impact when given the nod by Koeman this season, though both Deulofeu and Mirallas looked to have improved in the showing against Manchester United.
Young is set to leave Old Trafford and Watford is his likely destination, though the Telegraph mention Everton, Swansea and West Brom as clubs who are interested in signing the 31-year-old.
The winger left Aston Villa for Manchester United in June 2011 and impressed on several occasions early on in his Red Devil’s career, specifically against Arsenal as the club embarrassed the Gunners 8-2 at Old Trafford.
Now, it looks as though the Englishman has called time on his United career and hopes to find a move that would enable him more time on the pitch.
Though Everton are in need of a winger, it is yet to be seen whether Young would be the answer to the Toffee’s attacking woes.
The Merseysiders face Watford at Vicarage Road next, who are likely to be the club to convince Young to rejoin his boyhood club.
