A/N: I feel like I’ve used that Holgate picture a ton, but it’s boss so I’ll carry on.
Right, recently, I’ve been doing a few polls on Twitter about the state of the first team, and what needs to be done. There have been interesting responses, and I’ll address them in the coming slides.
The first poll was on whether Koeman should deploy some youngsters for the United game. It’s been a hot topic on social media, and it’s gradually progressed from suggestions to demands, after poor performances from the ‘Senior’ players in the squad in recent weeks.
The second was a controversial one, to say the least. It was regarding the man-in-form Oumar Niasse and whether he should be re-introduced into the first-team fold after excellent performances for the U-21s and showing brilliant attitude to get back into the team.
The third was regarding Phil Jagielka. Should he still be captain? Or is he quickly going the way of Sylvain Distin post-2013?
