Everton have reached an agreement with Lyon for forward Rachid Ghezzal, thought to be in the region of €11million, according to reports in France.
Ghezzal has only one year left on his current contract and was thought to be wanting to leave the club after rejecting a renewal. Everton have swooped and seemingly agreed a deal with Lyon and now will look to convince Rachid to make the switch to Goodison Park this summer.
As part of the deal, Lyon will receive 20% of any sell-on fee from a possible Ghezzal sale in the future, that’s something to keep an eye on. Barnsley had a similar deal with Everton when John Stones arrived at Goodison Park and picked up over £6.5m as a result of his transfer to Manchester City.

The winger impressed in Ligue 1 last season, he scored eight goals last year and with the departure of Steven Pienaar and with Aiden McGeady and Oumar Niasse likely to join him Ronald Koeman is looking to strengthen his attack.
Lyon will look to keep ahold of one their man and after much speculation over his future he was forced to play with the reserves last weekend. Everton will now feel confident that they will be able to get a deal over the line and seal their fifth signing of the summer.
