George Caulkin of The Times is reporting that Everton and Newcastle are locked in advanced negotiations to take Brendan Galloway on a season-long loan.

Primarily a left-back, Galloway can also operate at centre-back which offers Rafa Benitez and Newcastle some attractive versatility ahead of their 46-game Championship season.
It’s believed that Everton are holding out for a seven-figure loan fee for Galloway and an agreement is close between the two clubs.
Manager Ronald Koeman doesn’t feature Galloway in his immediate first-team plans despite the defender making 19 appearances in all competitions under Roberto Martinez last season and wants to see the youngster get some first-team football out on loan.
