Everton will play newly-promoted Watford at Goodison Park on the first day of the 2015/16 season.
The Blues face Quique Flores’ men from North London on the weekend of the 8th August, and then head to St Mary’s for a tricky away fixture against Southampton. Manchester City are next up for Roberto Martinez and co., in what appears to be a difficult start for the Goodison Park side- the Toffees play all of last season’s top 7 in their opening 10 games.
The first Merseyside derby will take place at Goodison on 3rd October, while the return game at Anfield is scheduled for 27th February.
Everton play Newcastle (away) on Boxing Day, and will finish the season with games against Bournemouth (home), Leicester (away) and Norwich City (home).
Under-pressure manager Roberto Martinez will be determined to hit the ground running after a disappointing 2015/16. Fingers crossed for a positive start come 8th August.
