Everton reportedly had scouts present at Liverpool’s Europa League clash with Bordeaux, in order to watch Senegalese star Henri Saivet.
Roberto Martinez is believed to have been interested in Saivet for a long time, but the Blues are not the only potential suitors for the Ligue 1 star.
The Toffees will face stern competition as scouts from four Premier League clubs were in attendance. Spurs, Aston Villa, Swansea and Bournemouth are all thought to have made the journey to Merseyside in order to watch Saivet.
Sunderland and Southampton have kept tabs on the youngster in the past, and a £3.5m bid could be enough to bring him to Goodison Park.

Saivet represented France at youth level but decided to commit his senior international future to his country of birth, Senegal.
The 25-year-old would have impressed those in attendance, he scored his sides only goal as they were defeated 2-1 by Liverpool.
Saviet has made 172 appearances for Bordeaux and has scored 22 goals. He plays primarily as a central midfielder, but is able to play on the right-wing as well.
