Ahead of Saturday’s fixture between Everton and Arsenal, I decided to draw up my perfect team, consisting of players from both clubs. Arsenal currently reside in 2nd place with an impressive 19 points from their opening 9 games. This is due, in part, to their summer recruit Petr Cech, who is sure to be seen as one of the best buys of the season come the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
After losing to Manchester United last weekend, Everton have slipped down to 9th place; however considering the extremely difficult fixtures awarded to them at the beginning of the season, Roberto Martinez won’t be too disappointed.
The Combined XI is this time presented in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Again, there are several players that deserved to feature but I couldn’t find space for; the selection was difficult. Ultimately, you may agree or disagree with my choices but they are nothing more than my opinions. Nevertheless, here is the team;
